World War Z neatly demonstrates the art of breaking down and distressing costume. Hollywood costume comes to London’s Victoria & Albert Museum in the most exciting exhibition of its type ever announced. It was BAFTA/CDG all over again as Sandy Powell won Best Costume Design for The Young Victoria. Big winner was The Hurt Locker for Best Film and Best Director; big winner for Costume Design was The Young Victoria. It’s Academy Award nomination day so let’s have a look at the line up. We have to warn you though; there are a couple of upsets.

Old fashioned and sentimental, Water for Elephants still has much to offer with its very readable costume design. Little Junior Brown represents the ugly face of nineties designer villainy.

When Andrew appears to whisk her away from the meeting, Margaret announces to…

A totally non-grainy version of The A-Team movie teaser trailer has hit the net. Either you or your older brother or your dad will be very excited. UPDATE! (01/05) New full trailer online. For our money it’s dafter, but better. Pleasant surprise of the day, the first official photo for The A-Team movie has gone online – and it looks rather good.
